GEZE UK’s Lichfield facility was constructed when the decision to combine the company’s original bases was made.
Their first base, situated in Chelmsford, dealt with the distribution of manual door closers, whilst in Tamworth, another facility was used to supply and install automatic door systems.
GEZE UK’s Lichfield base was designed to combine these two procedures and began operations in 2004.
The company, which manufactures door and window control systems, now owns six regional offices and employs over 200 workers across the UK.
In addition to the anniversary, 10 of GEZE UK’s workers celebrated long service awards after completing 10 years of work with the company.
