Project: State of Jersey’s new police HQ
Architects: IBI Group
Construction: ROK Regal
The purpose-built complex will be a landmark development for both the State of Jersey and the Jersey Police, as the contemporary building will provide vital resources and facilities for police and custodial services in Jersey.
Advised and produced by the UK Specification major projects team, the solution included full first-fit specification for the custodial section and front facing areas of the impressive build, featuring nearly 300 doorsets fully integrated with access control.
ASSA ABLOY UK Specification team worked in partnership with IBI Group to ensure the design and scheduling of the doorsets.
Allan Thomson, Specification Director for ASSA ABLOY UK Specification: “This project is an important win for the Specification team, as it demonstrates our ability to provide a full specification for all areas of a build. This approach and full solution aids and improves the access and flow throughout the building, working closely with architects and contractors to understand and support the design-intent of the development.”
