Abloy new patented PROTEC2 locking solution

PROTEC2 locking solution
PROTEC2 locking solution, the latest development in the Abloy rotating disc cylinder keying system, uses a patented disc controller structure that requires a moving element in the key.
PROTEC2 also possesses key and key blank patent protection to stop systems becoming compromised through the unauthorised duplication of keys.
The patent, which lasts until 2031, is one of the longest in the industry and covers the entire range.
PROTEC2 offers high-level mechanical security, but it can also be integrated with Abloy’s electromechanical CLIQ technology to provide upgraded security combined with access control.
With an extremely wide product range including padlocks and cylinders that can all be operated with a single key, PROTEC2 has extensive master keying possibilities.
Jon Burke, Marketing Manager for Abloy UK, said: ’The new Abloy PROTEC2 is secure in every way.
Its one key design lends itself perfectly to masterkeying, while increased durability ensures that PROTEC2 is reliable in even the most severe environments.
’At Abloy we have over 100 years experience in providing the highest quality security solutions, and in developing the PROTEC2 we have created a truly 21st century system that can be used across various sectors, including utilities industrial and commercial’.
