Ibstock launches special edition of DZine
Manor Range of bricks
Ibstock has created an anniversary issue of its quarterly magazine, DZine, in recognition of 300 years of continuous production at its factory in Chailey.
This DZine edition looks at Ibstock's Chailey factory through a series of reports including a in-depth look into Chailey's history through the ages, inspirational projects using Chailey bricks, and also a detailed look at the clamp method of firing which is used at the factory.
Also featured in this issue of the magazine is a review of Ibstock's Manor Range of bricks which have been specifically designed to replicate traditional finishes from the past.
A range of bricks is manufactured using specially developed equipment and consists of five new products; four red and one buff.
Ibstock's 2010 Environmental Report is also detailed in this DZine, providing readers of the magazine with a chance to read about the efforts and investments that the brickmaker is putting into sustainability.
