New online ordering facility
Safedoors has launched a new online ordering facility which features it’s entire range of GRP composite doors.
Website visitors can order online using a door selector that is located in the passowrd-protected trade login area.
Trade customers can also download price lists, order forms, literature as well as images and promotions for their own use.
Fabricators and installers can access product details on the Safedoors range, including information on glass and hardware options, side panels, top lights and finishes.
All doors in the Safedoors range come complete with a full multipoint locking system alongside a choice of suited hardware including a knocker, letterplate, numerals and spyhole.
The hardware is available in gold, chrome, black, white or satin chrome finishes.
Each of the doors has a fully reinforced 70mm PVCu outer frame, high insulation foam core, strong through-coloured GRP facings and slim, low line aluminium thresholds with twin seals.
Mercury Glazing, a specialist in vertical sliders, fabricates its windows using Spectus profile. The company is reporting a 30% increase in sales which it attributes to new business success and a high retention of customers. Spectus’ vertical slider combines the performance of PVCu with the appearance of a timber sliding sash window. Full ovolo detail is offered throughout the window which also features tilt-in operation for cleaning access from the inside.
Composite door supplier, Permadoor, has been supplying and replenishing stocks of its front and rear doors to the Newport and Cardiff branches of Robert Price Builders’ Merchant for social landlord, Melin Homes. The success of this pilot initiative means that similar relationships can now be cultivated between local authorities or housing associations and their preferred UK builders’ merchant. The scheme was introduced to reduce the time tenants have to wait for replacement doors.
Low maintenance building products manufacturer, Swish Building Products, will be exhibiting a range of rainwater, roofline and cladding products at this year’s Roofex.
The new high volume, high strength SuperDeep 170 guttering system from Kayflow can carry more than ten times more water than a standard half round gutter.
Spectus Window Systems has been awarded the OHSAS 18001 standard for occupational health and safety management systems (OHSMS).
