Ahmarra ‘Hygienilac’ added to all veneer finishes
In the battle against superbugs, Ahmarra now add Hygienilac to the wood lacquer, the first anti-bacterial finish available in the UK that kills most species of bacteria.

On Friday 27 September timber fire door manufacturer, Ahmarra will host an FSC Friday open day and Macmillan Coffee Event at its Portsmouth factory. The company will raise awareness of the FSC by giving factory tours to visitors and hosting FSC seminars for staff. £10 will be donated by the company for every member of staff who wears green on the day and coffee and cakes will be on sale to support Macmillan.
Ahmarra Door Solutions has supplied all doorsets for the bedrooms and corridors of the new Mercure London Greenwich boutique hotel which was formerly a police section house. The company also manufactured the black panelled, high gloss entrance doors. The bedroom and corridor doorsets were supplied in FSC American White Oak stained to offer a Wenge veneer effect and benefit from FD30 and FD60 fire ratings.
A luxury property development in Chelsea, London, has seen Ahmarra Installations supply and fit internal and external doorsets, staircase handrails, frames and skirtings.
