Bespoke panel manufacturer Panel Systems used Aluglaze insulated infill panel for refurbished science block at Mandeville Upper School in Aylesbury.
Aluglaze comprises polyester-coated aluminium, which is bonded to a core of Styrofoam.
The panel comprised of 28mm thick Aluglaze panels, including a 1.5mm aluminium facing, 26mm of Styrofoam and a 0.5mm steel balancer, The panels achieved a U value of 0.88w/m2k, which will enhance the thermal performance of the refurbished building.
A premium quality panel, Aluglaze is typically specified when aesthetic considerations are paramount and is available in all RAL and Syntha Pulvin colours.
Panel Systems' bespoke service means that Aluglaze cut to specific sizes and thicknesses to suit individual glazing systems.
Panels can also be supplied in different thicknesses to achieve U values as low as 0.15 W/m2K.
