Crown Trade gets Clean Extreme paint
Clean Extreme Scrubbable Matt has been specified throughout The Whitehall Hotel, located in Darwen, Lancashire – the hometown of Crown Paints.
A magnificent Victorian manor house located in a moorland setting, the hotel won its round in Channel 4’s ‘Four In A Bed’ programme earlier this year.
Owners Neil and Tracy Bullows chose the high performance paint for the bedrooms, lounge, foyer and stairways of the hotel.
As well as being available in Scrubbable Matt, Clean Extreme can also be selected in Durable Acrylic Eggshell finish, offering the choice of an acrylic paint with durability and longevity as standard.
Clean Extreme Scrubbable Matt offers the same qualities with a true matt finish.
Both coatings extend maintenance cycles, offering exceptional scuff and dirt resistance, with a high performance ‘scrubbable’ finish.
They are also available in a range of different colours.
At The Whitehall Hotel, colours were carefully selected to be in-keeping with the history of the building.
“In environments where first impressions count, the product’s tough, stain resistant finish means walls can be scrubbed clean time and time again, yet the paint finish always looks as good as new.
“When tested under ISO 11998, which is the industry standard method to determine the wet scrub resistance of a dry paint film, Clean Extreme achieved Class 1 scrub resistance.
“This means that it had less than five microns film loss after 200 scrub cycles, equating to a 400% increase in wet scrub resistance compared to conventional emulsion paints.”
Specifiers can enhance their selection of premium products such as Clean Extreme with a powerful new online resource launched by Crown Paints, PaintSpec Finder.
