Three paints ranges from Johnstone’s have recently triumphed in separate product trials. Johnstone’s Stormshield Smooth Masonry has been certified as possessing Excellent Anti-Carbonating Properties; Johnstone’s Microbarr products have passed thorough hospital cleaning trials; and the company’s Acrylic Eggshell, Aqua Gloss and Covaplus products succeeded in being approved for use on the London Underground.

Donation of paint and time by leading paint brand Johnstone’s and volunteers from Trafford Housing Trust helped renovate an old scout hut on ‘Give and Gain Day’ to provide a makeover for the building for local charity 4 Cheeky Monkeys. The hut was painted in Johnstone’s Opaque Wood Finish and the interior painted with a combination of Johnstone’s Jonmat and Aqua Gloss range.

As the new Academy consists of a number of contrasting substrates a wide range of Johnstone’s paints were employed. Trade paint company celebrates seven years of football sponsorship weblink
The 2013 Johnstone’s Paint Trophy saw Crewe Alexandra take on Southend United at Wembley Stadium in front of 43,000 spectators. The trade paint brand’s sponsorship of the cup is in its seventh year and gives Johnstone’s the opportunity to say thank you to its biggest customers by treating them to a corporate hospitality day filled with football. Johnstone’s also treated its 2012 Young Painter of the Year winner, Daniel Halliday, to an all-expenses paid trip to the match.
