Ashtree Roofing win NHIC Awards
Ashtree Roofing has won a Roofing Excellence and the overall NHIC winner's awards for its work on Brookhouse Crescent.
The site of Brookhouse Crescent was once a derelict Working Men's club, which was transformed into an aesthetically pleasing living area.
The crescent formed the showpiece for the overall development of the site, which included a new Working Men's Club, bowling green and apartments, which are part private ownership and social housing.
This award is presented to a company that has completed a project that most closely fulfils the objectives of the National Home Improvement Council, which stands for the promotion of home improvement and energy efficiency.
Runners up for the Roofing Excellence category, sponsored by NFRC, were Richard Soan Roofing Services for its work on 'The Old Workhouse' a Grade-II listed building, and SouthWest Roofing Services for its heritage work on Caledonian Mansion, a Category 2 listed building in Glasgow.
NFRC wants to encourage other companies to put entries forward for the NFRC Roofing Awards 2011, and to participate in the next NHIC Annual Awards.
