Roof window manufacturer Fakro GB appoint Steve Mascall as new Sales Director to help develop the brand while driving demand through growing network of stockists.
New Sales Director for Fakro Leading roof window manufacturer Fakro GB has appointed Steve Mascall as its new Sales Director.
With a career in construction spanning more than twenty five years, previous roles have included senior positions with ACO and, most recently, Supreme Concrete.
Steve began his career with Graham BM and has maintained strong links with merchants throughout.

Fakro GB supplied a range of bespoke roof windows for new 208-room Motel One Edinburgh Royal specified by Morgan McDonnell Architecture for the German Motel One group’s first low budget designer hotel in the UK. 25 roof windows have been installed as part of the listed building conversion, including smoke vent, flat roof, fixed closed and top hung designs.
Fakro has installed 21 roof windows on a series of low pitch zinc roofs at the new Farm Shop at Loch Arthur, a working community in Dumfries. Fixed closed, manually and electrically operated FSC accredited roof windows were specified alongside bespoke flashing to match the quartz-zinc roofs by Simon Winstanley Architects.

The new range of Fakro flat roof windows, including clear and opaque polycarbonate domes or dome-free options, offer top thermal qualities, with energy-efficient U6 or U8 triple and quadruple-glazed units available to provide a glazing U-value as low as 0.3 W/m2K. An internal pane of P2A anti-burglary glass also provides an additional level of security.
The new Z-wave FTP-V and FTU-V Electro centre pivot roof windows from FAKRO benefit from wireless communication based on a low power radio frequency. The windows can be used alongside blinds and other household gadgets from over 200 manufacturers. Programmable remote controls and single and multi-channel wall keyboards enable the user to create individual systems with an almost unlimited range, all from one chip.
