Epwin Group’s Green Deal ’Tracker’
PVC-U door and window extruder and manufacturer, Epwin Group, has launched an online Green Deal ’Tracker’, aiming to offer guidance on the implications of the recent Green Deal for window fabricators and installers.
Scheduled to come into effect in October 2012, the Green Deal aims to cut the UK housing stock’s carbon footprint.
The Government plans to offer loans of up to £10,000 to encourage householders to install energy-saving home improvements, with repayments made by reduced electricity bills.
Epwin Group’s Green Deal hub has been created to outline how the scheme works, detailing delivery deadlines and advising on potential pitfalls.
