REHAU S706 70mm PVC-U system
More than 100 replacement windows, fabricated in the REHAU S706 70mm PVCu system have been installed at an iconic cotton spinning mill in Huddersfield.
A REHAU Authorised Partner, trade fabricator Nu-Fit Windows has supplied 110 3 x 2m windows to replace single glazed timber windows across one façade of the 105 year old, six storey building.
The original timber windows had become rotten and draughty to the point that there was a danger that they could fall into the car park below.
The REHAU S706 windows were recommended as a suitable replacement for the timber windows because of their proven quality and durability.
Self cleaning glass was also specified to minimise the ongoing maintenance of the windows.
As part of the next stage of restoration work, REHAU windows will be installed across the remaining façades.
