Listers staff and Customers on the Roto Roof training day
Lister Trade Frames, based in Stoke on Trent, had been investigating a roof window supplier to provide new and innovative products for their installers.
They found Roto Roof, a company with over 40 years experience and also operating in Germany, delivering their revolutionary pivot window.
Roto Roof wanted to break into the UK market and were looking for a UK company to work with.
Lister Trade Frames was the perfect fit.
Listers set about helping customers understand that there were alternatives to the more established brands.
MD Mark Warren explains.
’The product spoke for itself but the issue was making sure that our customers understood the benefits of the Roto roof window’.
Working closely with Roto, Listers aet about creating the marketing campaign.
A demonstration model was installed on their trade counter and a focused advertising campaign was devised.
The next step was to show their customers how easy the system was to install.
Listers sent a group of their customers and some of their own staff to a Roto Roof training day held by the manufacturers themselves.
Feedback from Listers customers included:
’Actually getting my hands dirty and learning the techniques really helped me understand the product’.
’I was surprised how easy the window was to install in comparison to more recognisable versions’
’As the trainers were explaining the best way to install, I learnt that I was 90% of the way there, but the techniques they showed me mean that I’m more confident than ever now’.
Matt Jones of Roto said, ’We run these days every month, but we’ve never had a day so well received as the Listers day’.
The Roto Roof pivot window is now an established part of the Listers offering more customers are lining up for the next Listers Roto training day.
