New renewables design service
The renewables design service from Dimplex is helping installers and specifiers quote quickly and accurately on all kinds of renewables projects.
It offers expert help in meeting the requirements of the updated MIS 3005 heat pump installer standard.
The service helps to achieve compliance first time for heat pump projects, and also simplifies the process of preparing the detailed heat loss calculations which must now be completed.
Dimplex’s renewables design service can supply either -
- a quick quote, giving an approximate figure of kW output required for an installation
- the full MIS 3005 service, which provides all calculations needed for compliance, as well guidance on appropriate heat pump model, hot water cylinder, heat emitters and ground collectors, if required.
Installers can help speed up the design process by having to hand all relevant information about the project.
These can include construction U-values, full accurate dimensions, and external and required internal temperatures.
Dimplex Renewables is also running CPD seminars on the updated MIS 3005 standard.
Heating company Dimplex has made a number of design improvements to its range of recessed air curtains. Improvements to the CAB air curtain range mean that there is no longer a requirement for accessory parts or kits. Furthermore, a smart new white finished linear vane grille has updated the look and the performance of the range has been enhanced. The company has also increased the range of performance options available for its architectural ARC range of air curtains.
Installers are invited to Dimplex’s half day seminars on the new Dimplex A Class high temperature, inverter-driven air source heat pumps and the all-in-one easy packages for installation.
Dimplex welcomed Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) ruling that their manufacturer’s claims regarding storage heating performance are accurate and realistic.
Dimplex makes life easier for installers with a new online tool to help calculate the heating requirements of a building and select the most appropriate heat pump and ancillary equipment.
Dimplex say Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) delays are ‘extremely disappointing’ and call on DECC to act to prevent a damaging hiatus in the market.
