Energy efficient NRG Commercial Heat Recovery System from ventilation systems supplier Vortice selected for Rory McIlroy’s home golf club in Belfast.
Vortice is among many celebrating Rory McIlroy’s US PGA Open Championship win, not least because Vortice was recently selected by his home club, the Holywood Golf Club in North Belfast, to supply their NRG Commercial Heat Recovery System for its changing room refurbishment.
The Vortice system was installed by Eddie Finn of Crystal Air, who said, ’We chose the NRG Commercial Heat Recovery by Vortice for the changing room area because of the metal plate heat exchanger which is required for the removal of the moist stale air and the supply of fresh air into the changing area of the clubhouse.
’The size of the unit was also an important factor to take into consideration’.
Vortice is designing many more energy efficient ventilation systems for sports clubs around the UK.
