Wood for Good CPD Timber Education Programme 2012
TRADA Technology offer new package of CPD seminars, in-house at architectural and engineering practices around the UK, in partnership with Wood for Good, the Forestry Commission and Napier University.
TRADA Technology focusing on those firms in England and Wales.
Scotland and Northern Ireland will receive their CPDs from Edinburgh Napier.
Plus two regional half day events will be offered by TRADA Technology in the summer of 2012, one in London, the other in Wales.
To receive CPD
- practices need only provide a suitable conference room and a minimum of 14 delegates
- Smaller practices can join forces with other firms in their area
- TRADA Technology can assist with details if necessary
- CPDs will be backed up by TRADA’s 24-hours online access to technical and practical information about wood and wood products
No charge for these CPD events as the programme
- fully funded by Wood for Good
- supported by CPD ‘surgeries’ of up to 30 minutes
- opportunity to submit technical questions for discussion after the CPD event
In addition, TRADA Technology will be developing a CPD that addresses the typical concerns building control officers and insurers have regarding the use of wood on projects and how these can be addressed.
