  • 1 Dec 2014

UK Construction Week 6 – 9 October 2015

UK Construction Week will offer something for everyone involved in construction, with nine dedicated events taking place at the Birmingham NEC.

SMART BUILDINGS SHOW

CEDIA will play a pivotal role in developing a dedicated SMART BUILDINGS event for electronic systems for homes and technology for commercial buildings – to be held at UK Construction Week in 2015.

SMART BUILDINGS will offer 125-150 exhibitors showcasing

  • automation control systems
  • security
  • AV products
  • integrated lighting

Includes a central feature showcasing the latest technology for residential and commercial building.

Working with CEDIA, the SMART BUILDINGS Show will also provide installers, specifiers and architects and other parties interested in integrated tech for homes with the opportunity to take part in debates and workshops as well as CPD seminars.

Wendy Griffiths, Executive Director of CEDIA:“We have worked with Media 10 for over eight years on various projects and have always been impressed with their ability to deliver successful events and recognise opportunities in growing sectors.  On behalf of the industry and our members we are excited to be invited to partner with them to support UK Construction Week, specifically the dedicated Smart Buildings element within the event. We recognise the importance that the construction industry has to our members and this event provides us with the perfect platform to bring the two industries together.”

Nathan Garnett, Event Director for UK Construction Week: “Integrated technology is rapidly becoming a fundamental aspect of the built environment and there is a real thirst for information in this sector. We had identified the need for a large scale event for installers and specifiers of integrated technology, so this fits perfectly within our ambitious plans for a comprehensive range of events at the NEC under the umbrella of UK Construction Week. We have enjoyed working with CEDIA on 100% Design and Grand Designs, and this promises to be our most exciting partnership to date”

CEDIA members will be entitled to benefits at the SMART BUILDINGS Show.
