Chiltern International Fire and Chiltern Dynamics, as part of the BM TRADA Group, have more than 75 years' experience in providing practical solutions, testing and consultancy to the construction, retail, transport and maritime industries.
In that time, Chiltern International Fire has become renowned for its specialist expertise in doors, windows and fire-rated products. Chiltern International Fire (CIF) is one of Europe's leading authorities on fire, providing a range of services to clients around the world. Services include consultancy, research, training and testing to British, European and International standards. In addition, CIF can undertake fire safety audits, upgrading and assessment of fire performance. All major tests are accredited by UKAS. CIF also offers a first class facility for training fire services personnel.
Chiltern Dynamics (CD) is responsible for CIF's non-fire services providing testing and assessments to prove the performance of buildings and their components against a wide range of performance criteria, including mechanical testing of doors and windows, air tightness and acoustic testing, thermographic inspection of buildings, thermal analysis of building products and BFRC accredited thermal simulation.
