CUPA PIZARRAS slates create excellent finish on unique build

  • 18 Dec 2017

A selection of CUPA R12 Excellence slates from CUPA PIZARRAS have been used to complete the roof of a circular property in Cambridgeshire.

Screen Shot 2017-12-18 at 10.04.15The building features an eyebrow within the 30 degree pitch, covering the main entrance. The unique pitch meant every slate had to be cut, starting with 24 x 18 at the eaves, working up to the roof with 20 x 15 and then 24 x 12. The final slates measured at 20 x 10, and composite tile battens were sourced to bend them.

A highly rigorous grading process ensures that the slates in the R12 Excellence Selection meet the highest standard. In addition, the slates offer regular colour and thickness, making them easier to install and providing a great finish.

CUPA R12 Excellence benefits from the CUPA PIZARRAS 100- year warranty and with the unique barcode you can trace every tile back to its source.
