Fibo becomes commercial associate of SFHA

  • 4 Oct 2018

European market leader in bathroom and kitchen wall panels, Fibo UK has become a commercial associate of the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations (SFHA).

Fibo has been popular for use in Scottish social housing since 1981. Scott Beattie, Fibo’s Managing Director, comments: “It made sense for Fibo to build on our long-standing relationships with housing associations in Scotland, and to support the SFHA in the important work it does in helping communities.”

Fibo’s unique Aqualock tongue-and-groove design means that the wall panels are quick and easy to install – up to five times faster than traditional tiles. The system is completely watertight and comes with a market-leading, 15-year guarantee.

The panels provide a long-lasting surface that is every bit as effective as a tiled one, but without the disadvantages – no grouting to clean and replace, no mould growth, low maintenance, quicker installation time and lower fitting costs, with no tiler required.

Whether it’s for the kitchen or bathroom, panels can be fitted easily and quickly in just one day, resulting in minimum disruption for tenants.

Tosh Brannon, Project Team Co-ordinator for West Lothian Council, adds: “The first thing we look for when sourcing materials for our properties is quality. Another important factor is how quickly and efficiently we can complete each installation.

“That’s why we use Fibo waterproof wall panels – the rigid composition of the panels and the simple inter-locking system makes the installation quick and painless.”
