FLIR’s Exx-Series of thermal imaging cameras has been designed for users who want more than an entry level model but not all of the features synonymous with professional models. Exx-Series models are thermally tunable and manually focusable and feature thermal fusion, continuous zoom, text/voice annotation, WiFi and Meterlink. The range consists of three models – E40, E50 and E60.

FLIR Systems has launched the new FLIR Ex-Series of entry-level thermal imaging cameras which incorporate MSX-technology for exceptional image quality in real time. The FLIR Ex-Series consists of four new cameras which have been designed to be easy to use for those who are new to thermal imaging. The cameras have a fixed focus-free lens and are extremely lightweight, weighing just 575 grams.
Thermal imaging technology can be used to ensure the best possible yield from solar panels. Suppliers can use it to detect shunts which reduce a solar cell’s conversion efficiency and cameras can be employed in the field for inspection use. Solar systems supplier, Solon, uses FLIR’s P-Series camera for shunt detection and FLIR’s T-Series cameras for field inspections.
