Novus Property Solutions makes a festive donation to Trussell Trust Midlothian Food Bank

Food bank receives festive donation from Novus Property Solutions

  • 15 Dec 2015

Novus Property Solutions has made a donation to the Trussell Trust Midlothian Food Bank in preparation for the Christmas holiday season.

The staff at Novus’ Bathgate office pulled together to collect and donate over £150 worth of food and essentials to the food bank, which is based in Gorebridge.

The bank, which is run entirely by volunteers, aims to provide a lifeline to local people in need by offering three days of emergency food and supplies.

Novus’ donation will ensure that those who are struggling over the Christmas period will receive adequate help and support.

Food bank supported by Melville Housing

As Trussell Trust Midlothian Food Bank has been Melville Housing’s nominated charity throughout 2015, Novus decided to make a donation in acknowledgment of the association’s 20th anniversary.

The company has worked alongside Melville Housing, which has almost 2,000 properties around Midlothian, for several years. In the past, Novus’ team has provided reactive and emergency repairs to its housing stock and factored and void properties.
