The Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF) enjoyed more space and greater interaction with its Members at this year’s FIT Show, which was held at Birmingham’s NEC last week.
The show attracted approximately 10,000 visitors, with more than 250 companies exhibiting across the three day period.
It was the first time that the show has been hosted at Birmingham’s NEC arena; the larger exhibition space allowed more stands to showcase their products at the event.
The additional floor space also enabled the exhibitors to run their own stand parties on the first evening of the show. The GGF took this opportunity to host its 40th Anniversary Party. The celebration, which featured live entertainment and offered new networking opportunities, attracted over 80 people.
Over the course of the show, the Federation connected with many of its Members; some were keen to express how important the GGF is to their companies. The show proved to be a fantastic arena for promoting the benefits of being associated with the GGF.
With its Members Lounge and 4m high ‘Founders Wall’ drew visitors to the stand, the Federation was inundated with membership enquiries.
In addition, the four metres high “Founders Wall”, our Members Lounge and the GGF video on our TV monitors attracted many visitors to the stand.
‘Our special offer of 40% off first year’s subscriptions also attracted many potential new members to our stand,’ comments Brian Smith, GGF Director of Home Improvement and Membership.
‘This offer will continue for 40 working days after the FIT Show, so those who couldn’t make it can still take advantage of this once in a generation special subscription offer for new members.’
Following the success of this year’s FIT Show, the GGF has already signed up to exhibit at the 2019 event, which is set to take place at Birmingham’s spacious NEC arena again.
