This year’s Timber Expo saw the launch of the Fabric First Academy – an organisation of construction industry professionals committed to sustainable building using a Fabric First approach. Mike Stephenson, Development Director at offsite fenestration company Sidey, gave a presentation at the launch on the company’s involvement in the Fabric First Academy and how it can help achieve sustainable development.

GGF publish its Annual Report for 2012 that shows a financially stable position during another very difficult year for the industry. The GGF Membership have held firm as the Federation continued to support Members with advice and guidance on important legislative, technical and health and safety issues. All GGF Members were posted a printed copy of the Annual Report and a digital version is available for download from the GGF website.
Following the success this major fabricator and installer Trade Show last year, the Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF) will be exhibiting at FIT Show 2014, alongside its wholly owned subsidiaries FENSA, GGFi and BFRC. The GGF will again be contributing to seminars and FENSA will be sponsors of the Master Fitter Competition.
