Flir at Energy Solutions event to demonstrate the power of Multi Spectral Dynamic Imaging (MSX) that provides images rich in texture and detail without compromising radiometric accuracy.
Flir will be on stand no: F42 at Energy Solutions – London Olympia – 11 & 12 October 2012
Year on year, Flir Systems introduces new hardware and software features to its thermal imaging cameras to make inspection easier, quicker and more efficient.
Power of Multi Spectral Dynamic Imaging (MSX)
- provides images rich in texture and detail without compromising radiometric accuracy
- takes the detail from the visual image captured by the Flir camera to enhance the thermal image
- much crisper image allows details to be seen that bring any energy loss problem into sharp focus
Flir T640bx
This is one of many new features introduced by the Flir T640bx, the company’s latest addition to the top end of its range. Other ‘firsts’ include:
- user selectable and continuous autofocus - a feature unique to Flir
- matching field of view for ease of reporting
- model also allows users to add unlimited sketch annotations to the image via the camera’s touch screen
As well as new capabilities the Flir T640bx camera also inherits proven features from previous generations that have made the Flir T-Series such a popular choice. These include:
- tiltable optical unit
- insulation and humidity alarms
- WiFi interface for communication with mobile devices
- similarly enabled moisture and clamp meters
Flir Systems developments in the past year haven’t just focussed at the top end however.
Flir i-Series cameras
Its entry level Flir i-Series cameras, for example, are now much more robust and have better image quality than their forerunners.
Flir E30bx
Another significant introduction has been the Flir E30bx with integral 2 megapixels visual camera, considered by Flir Systems to be the best ever entry level package it has ever produced.
Flir Systems is the technology leader in thermal imaging and at Energy Solutions it will be showing examples from its extensive range. The company confidently claims to have a model to suit every application and budget.
