Refrigerators and larders
Lec has announced that all of its under-counter refrigerators and larders are now A+ energy rated, meaning that they use less energy and result in reduced utility costs.
Endorsed by the Energy Saving Trust (EST), the products are said to be much kinder to the environment than the older, less efficient models and are up to GBP15 a year cheaper to run.
The improved collection includes the 50cm-wide R5010 and 55cm-wide R5510 refrigerators, both of which feature two safety glass shelves, a salad drawer, a bottle shelf, an internal light and a four-star freezer compartment.
The R5010 and the R5510 are available in either black or white finishes, while the R5510 is also available in silver.
Lec's L5010 and L5510 under-counter larders have also been upgraded to A+ energy efficiency ratings.
The larders feature three safety glass shelves, a salad drawer, a bottle shelf and an internal light and are available in a white finish.
The slightly larger L5510 is also available in silver.
All under-counter products carry the EST's 'Energy Saving Recommended' stamp of approval; they also have the A+ symbol on the facia and an A+ label for retail display.
