Medite Premier MDF panels were used to bring the contemporary designs to life

Signbox, an architectural sign specialist, was contracted to construct several feature wall designs for UBM.

The feature walls have been installed at the entrance to each floor of the media company’s new headquarters, which are located in Blackfriars, London.

The decorative walls were designed to create a series of silouhettes taking the shape of iconic buildings from across the world.

Incorporating 3D art, the walls were painted blue and white to create the silohuettes, which represent UBM’s global presence.

In total, 10 sheets of Medite Premier were supplied in a range of thicknesses.

The sheets were routed and painted to produce a different feature design for each of the building’s three floors.

Medite Premier MDF panels are manufactured using wood refining technology and resins.

With a smooth surface, they provide an effective base for painted surface finishes.

In addition to this, the panels can be machined and fabricated; this made them suitable for application in UBM’s new headquarters.
