Midland Lead launches new metal cladding range at RCI 2016

  • 16 Feb 2016

Midland Lead launched a new range of metal cladding solutions at this year’s RCI Show, the UK’s annual roofing, cladding and insulation event which took place between the 27th and 28th January at the Ricoh Arena.

The company unveiled its latest range of customised cladding for individual façades, available in zinc, copper, aluminium and lead.

Midland Lead’s machine cast lead has been used to weatherproof a range of major projects across the UK over the past three decades. The company has recently chosen to diversify its product selection with the introduction of metal cladding as a response to customer demand.

Managing Director Boudewijn Tuinenburg explains: “Having established our reputation as a manufacturer of high-quality lead sheet, we’ve built up extensive expertise in the metals arena. Keen to expand our offering, metal cladding was a natural bolt-on to our current product range and a great way to offer our customer base a new range of architectural design solutions.”

The new metal cladding solution not only opens up new possibilities for building aesthetics, but is also environmentally-friendly, lightweight and offers a full suite of practical features. This includes fast installation, low maintenance, large panel size opportunities and pre-fabrication options.

The introduction marks part of a longterm strategy which will see Midland Lead diversify into different markets and products.
