90% of windows in the UK are hung from the top and open outwards, which is problematic for remote high level or difficult to access windows.
Designed with this in mind, the OL Line features a manual opener, fitted to the opening vent which is linked by lengths of conduit and cable to a wall mounted operator.
The conduit can easily be bent around obstructions, which allows the handle to be placed within easy reach.
The natural ventilation system has been designed to be as flexible as possible, with multiple vents easily operated from a single operator.
A choice of various installation arrangements are also available.
A number of different opening widths are available; including the Midi operator and the Maxi operator, used for heavier window loads, which makes it suitable for use on most styles of window.
In addition, it can be used to open roof lights when used with a screwjack opener.
Andy Howland, sales director of GEZE UK, commented on the products launch by saying:
The new OL Line is a natural extension to our range of natural ventilation products. It is extremely flexible, easy to install and can be retrofitted.
As a result the OL Line is the ideal for manual system for public and commercial buildings as well as for schools where a cost effective child-safe’ system is required.
