<description>Carpet Recycling UK (CRUK) has won the 2013 Resource Revolution Awards Landfill Diversion category. The awards honour modern waste management initiatives and recognised CRUK’s achievements in discovering new ways in which waste carpet can be used. Carpet Recycling UK has set a target of 25% landfill diversion by 2015 and saw a rise of 30% in 2012 compared to the previous year.</description>

<description>TRADA Technology has carried out the annual safety inspection on a replica trebuchet belonging to Warwick Castle – the largest wooden trebuchet in the world. The 22 tonne, 18m high oak and ash siege engine was reproduced using drawings from the 13th century and is located below the South Front of the Castle. TRADA Technology’s safety inspection included monitoring fungal decay using a cherry picker to access the high level elements of the machine.</description>
