The Boxer, GEZE UK’s new range of concealed door closers, has been designed to leave only the guide rail visible when the door is open to preserve the aesthetics of the door’s design. Installed within the door leaf, the Boxer is available in a number of styles with different properties
The heavier duty Boxer 3-6 has been manufactured to accommodate doors that weigh up to 180kg and have a maximum leaf width of 1400mm in a single action configuration.
Meanwhile, the Boxer 2-4 offers a double action configuration that will accommodate doors with a leaf width of up to 1000mm and a maximum weight of 80kg.
The 2-4 is can also be used in a single action configuration to accommodate doors with a maximum leaf width of 1100mm that can weigh up to 130kg.
Once the concealed door closer is installed, the closing speed and force and hydraulic action and back check can be adjusted. The single action versions are also compatible with an electro free swing mechanism.
Fitted within the door transom, GEZE UK’s Invers range of cam action door closers are designed to be used where an anti-ligature product is required. The spindle connects to the top of the door, replacing the need for guide rails.
The range includes products that can be used in areas where anti-lingature fixtures are necessary. They are also compatible with fire safety doors and have been specified for building environments such as hospitals, care homes and schools as well as hotels, airports and showrooms.
The products, which have been designed to enhance accessibility, are CE Marked, Certifire Approved (CF259) and have a DOP.
