ABC Anchors to exhibit eco foundation solution

An ABC Anchors product story

ABC Anchors is presenting an eco foundation solution at Greenbuild Expo, which can create 4m of usable foundation system per hour, without the need to use wet trades.

This sustainable solution features the ABC Central Concrete Foundation Beam system.

Building on its 60mm steel screw piles that deliver precision foundation systems, ABC Anchors has collaborated with Central Concrete to develop this system.

This reusable pre-cut, factory-made concrete beam allows cavity walls and suspended floors to be built instantly.

The ABC Central Concrete Foundation Beam works in conjunction with the ABC 60mm screw pile installed with the ABC 400H hydraulic powered driver.

Brackets are fixed to the pile head to support the concrete beams that can be manoeuvred into position and bonded to provide an accurate level floor beam ready for use.

'This material-saving solution is perfect for modular buildings as the concrete foundation beam can be reused, as can the screw piles,' said Richard Robinson, managing director, ABC Anchors.

'Together, they totally eliminate the need for wet trades.

'Four metres of foundation per hour can be achieved by using our complete foundation solution, meaning a base for a conservatory to be built upon could be ready within just two hours,' he added.

The ABC Central Concrete Foundation Beam is suitable for supporting conventional two-storey buildings or three lightweight storeys with a nominal maximum pile spacing of 1.5m.

ABC Anchors can be found stand C5 at the Greenbuild Expo, taking place on 17-18 June in Manchester.
