Abloy Extends Door Closer Range

The DC210 has been developed to meet class 2 and 3 closing force requirements according to EN1154 standards and has been tested to 500,000 opening/closing cycles.
With a cast aluminium body, the new DC210 door closers incorporate a maximum opening angle of 180deg and feature adjustable closing and latching speeds, which can be quickly adjusted to suit specific requirements via two speed control valves.
The DC210 can be fitted either to the doorframe or leaf, depending on requirements, and is supplied complete with a standard arm.
The ABLOY DC247 has been specially designed for extremely heavy interior and exterior doors such as on board ships and in power stations.
The DC247, which is supplied with a standard arm, can be used on doors ranging in weight from 120kg to 160kg, with maximum door leaf widths of 1400mm to 1600mm.
The DC247 door closers have been developed to meet class 6 and 7 closing force requirements according to EN1154.
With a cast aluminium body, the DC247 utilises a hydraulically damped rack and pinion mechanism with adjustable closing and latching speeds and easy adjustment of the arm height to a maximum of 14mm.
