Abloy Security Awards Celebrate Customer Success
The new Abloy Security Awards for Excellence 2003 have been launched to recognise the achievements of ABLOY Centres and trade customers throughout the UK and Ireland.
The system also utilises the popular Mifare card technology.
It is an extremely versatile, off-line access control option which can be fitted to internal or external doors with contemporary design, stainless steel construction and compatibility with a variety of handles and mortice locks.
Supplied in a range of finishes, Smartair is also available with an electronic privacy function - which can be activated from the inside and will only allow access by specifically authorised cards.
Due to launch in summer 2008, IFSEC visitors will be the first to see Abloy's plans for its education and training initiative - the Academy.
The Academy will be based at Abloy's head office and is designed to bridge the gap of knowledge between locksmiths, access control installers and architectural ironmongers.
Focussing on the standards security systems are required to meet and how these can be achieved as easily as possible by the installers - the Academy is aimed at bringing consistency to the skill set offered by all those involved in the installation and specification of security equipment.
