Fire protection is an integral part of the design of a building and AccentHansen has developed its FireShield range of steel fire doors to suit any application.

The FireShield Series 30 and 60 doorsets are supplied for half an hour and one hour applications, with smoke control as required Used extensively in the commercial sector, they are available in steel and stainless steel, combining functionality with high aesthetic appeal

The FireShield F60 special finish doorset is ideal for the public sector, where the requirement is for resilience, durability and anti-graffiti properties.

The unique construction of the F60 allows doorskins to be finished and assembled around the inner door construction, after the insertion of hardware and glazing.

Frames may be finished to match the door.

Typical applications include underground stations, airports and public areas where security and fire safety are a high priority.

The FireShield 120 is specified for a range of applications, notably within the commercial, public and utility sectors.

The FireShield 120 provides a longer period of fire integrity, from one and a half to two hours beyond the performance of timber doorsets.

Test data obtained from this product covers single and double doorsets in steel and stainless steel and includes vision and observation panels.

Also in the AccentHansen FireShield portfolio is the Series 240, selected for use where a four hour fire integrity rating is required.

It is available fully flush in single or double applications in mild and stainless steel.

The 240 is fully tested to attain the criteria demanded by the Loss Prevention Council.

Whatever the requirement, AccentHansen can provide a fire door that meets the requirements of BS476 Parts 22 and 31.1, protecting both occupants and buildings in the event of a fire.

The company is one of the world's leading manufacturers and suppliers of steel doorsets, combining the strength and performance of the material with the visual appeal and functionality required of contemporary fire doors.

AccentHansen is part of the Anglo-Scandinavian HansenGroup, one of Europe's leading fenestration specialists, with annual sales of £100 million and over 1,000 employees.

HansenGroup's activities extend from structural glazing, curtain walling and windows, fire resisting and steel glazing systems and advanced glass processing to high performance steel doorsets for fire, acoustic, security and cleanroom applications.
