Aconex bags Woods Bagot Dubai deal

Woods Bagot is already using Aconex on several high-profile projects in Dubai including the 86-storey The Index building; Park Plaza mixed-use high-rise tower; Al Kaheel, the equestrian-themed portion of Dubailand; and Dubai Healthcare City Urology Hospital development.
Aconex opened its Dubai office in 2004 to service the city's booming construction market - which, according to the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce, grew by 29% in 2004.
Leigh Jasper, Aconex Managing Director, commented: "Aconex is currently the leading provider of construction collaboration technology in the Middle East and uptake of our solution is increasing rapidly across the region.
In addition to the company's growth in Dubai, we are now servicing projects in Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait".
Global uptake of the Aconex solution has at least doubled every year since 2000 and is expected to double again over the next 12 months.
