Aconex selected for Sydney development
Aconex selected by Frasers Property to provide its online information management service to the company's Frasers Broadway project in Sydney, Australia.

The Frasers Broadway project is an extension of the historic Chippendale area.
The development, which will include new offices, around 1,600 apartments and 5,000m2 of parkland, will be delivered over the next eight to ten years.
Michael Goldrick, Construction Director at Frasers Property, said: "We see Frasers Broadway as our flagship project in Sydney.
Over the lifecycle of this development, we expect that hundreds of thousands of drawings and documents will be created, that will need to be shared between the numerous parties involved in the project.
Traditional information management tools, such as paper documents and email, are not sophisticated enough to manage this complex flow of information.
"Using Aconex will save time by giving people fast retrieval and distribution of their files and will cut administrative costs such as printing and couriers.
Being able to track the status of all files and correspondence online will increase our control and reduce exposure to risks such as disputes and delays".
As part of the project, Frasers Property has developed sustainability initiatives to guide all development on the site, including the reuse of building materials and environmentally sustainable design for energy, water, buildings and public domain.
Goldrick added: "In addition to helping us manage the standard project drawings and documents, Aconex will enable us to track our Green Star credentials during the submission process.
Also, because the system manages everything electronically, it will lower our paper waste".
