Adept Scientific appoints managing director

Adept Scientific has announced the appointment of Mike Pisapia as managing director of the company.

He takes on this new role as Adept's co-founder, Dr Paul Bragg, steps back from the day-to-day running of the company after 26 years.

Paul remains chairman of the Adept Scientific Group and will continue to play an active, hands-on role.

Mike Pisapia joined Adept in January 2007 as general manager, with a strong technology and engineering background and having enjoyed a successful management career and extensive international business management experience in sales, marketing and product development.

Mike's expertise in data acquisition, test and measurement, process control, maths and simulation software, as well as strategic planning and business systems, has and will continue to provide the skills that drive Adept Scientific forward and further strengthen the company's position as a successful multi-source suppliers of hardware and software for technical computing applications.
