ADI-Gardiner accessible access control systems
ADI-Gardiner (UK) exclusive product makes access control monitoring easy.
The system was originally chosen to monitor access to key entrances but, following meetings with the Bristol Education Authority, the system was expanded to accommodate over 120 doors - many of them classrooms housing computer suites, technology centres and extensive libraries.
The ACTpro 3000 is an advanced system controller with built-in TCP/IP connectivity.
It is easily scalable and can be networked to accommodate 30,000 users.
Advantages of the system include reduced cabling, the flexibility to incorporate the school's existing ID cards, and seamless integration with the student database to reduce the need for staff entry.
Duncan Wilmot, of Security Solutions Direct, comments: "We regularly buy ACT access control products from ADI-Gardiner, as they have excellent supporting software, a good range of accessories and are competitively priced".
"Unlike other distributors, ADI-Gardiner has expertise available at a local level through its Bristol branch, which allows us to discuss and identify the most appropriate solution to meet end user requirements".
Paul Shellard, from ADI-Gardiner's Bristol branch, comments: "We recommended the ACTpro 3000 access control system for the project because, in our experience, the product is ideal for use in the education sector".
