university

Major university has chosen AEI's Enhanced Firetec cabling for the fire alarm system in the refurbishment of part of its site.

The system will provide power for the system in the student accommodation blocks, dining areas and sports halls at the HUB T Project, Sheffield University Also linked to the system is a door release system for fire-controlled doors which can be shut off to prevent the spread of flames and toxic fumes in the event of fire

The cabling was supplied through Bennett and Fountain, Leeds, part of Edmundson Electrical , and installed by Ven Electrical Services , Leeds, on behalf of Protec.

AEI Cables has also supplied its Firetec Standard cabling for the refurbishment and new development of the buildings at Temple Moore School, Leeds, on behalf of ADT Leeds.
