AFI-Uplift appoints new Managing
Director
AFI-Uplift has carried out a management restructuring which has resulted in Richard Saunders being appointed Managing Director.
Richard, who was previously AFI's General Manager, has over 20 years' experience in the powered access industry He joined AFI as Regional Director and progressed to Operations Director and General Manager before taking up his new position

The restructuring has also involved reorganising AFI into six operational regions and appointing Nick Higgins, previously Regional Director, as Operations Director.
In the last five years, AFI's depot network has increased from three to 17 locations, the company's rental fleet has grown from 300 to 4,300 machines, turnover has increased from GBP2 million to GBP32 million, and the AFI team has increased to almost 300 employees.
