Armstrong goes paper-free with new
e-brochures
Armstrong World Industries, one of the world's leading suppliers of suspended ceiling systems, has lessened its environmental impact with its latest brochure.
Instead of flicking through traditional eco-unfriendly high gloss paper brochures, Armstrong's customers can now view the full product range, the main line brochure, online in two new e-brochures: Ceiling Information and Product Information Created following feedback from focus groups and customer surveys, the user friendly e-brochures combine the best of both worlds with a technologically advanced paper-free format that resembles the printed form

Innovative metal ceiling range provides design flexibility for contractors and specifiers.
The virtual pages of the e-brochure can be turned with click of a mouse and the zoom features offers readers a closer look at the high quality images and product information.
But customers don't just benefit from the eco-friendly design.
The content is much improved too.
The Ceiling Information brochure assists customers in selecting the right solution for the right area.
It gives advice on the role of the ceiling in different buildings and presents visuals of various projects, explaining how ceilings can improve acoustics within a space.
Technical advice and support is also offered.
The second brochure, Product Information, presents detailed information on the Armstrong range by product type, including Canopies, Mineral, Metal and Wood tiles, i-ceilings and Suspension systems - offering customers all the information they need to make their ceiling choices.
But fans of former Armstrong brochures will be pleased to hear that it's not all change - the product classification has been kept by material, utexture as performance as the focus groups showed this to be the most logical for customer use.
Jonathan Griffiths of Armstrong says, "Every business has to be environmentally aware now, and the construction industry is no exception - we must reduce waste where we can and with more people using the internet than ever before- changing our main method of brochure distribution from print to online was an obvious choice.
The new e-brochures don't just road-test the online format, but incorporate the findings of our extensive research into what our customers need from our brochures.
We have included 'breath' pages into each range to present the texture close-ups and focus on the various patterns, as well as changing all icons in indigo for enhanced readability.
