Ahmarra wins coveted BAA framework

Architects and other specifiers of Timber Door Sets need to know that in order to fulfil the requirements for specifying FSC timber, the manufacturer must have gained FSC.
The value to Ahmarra is expected to be between GBP1.m - GBP3m depending upon the projects undertaken.
Over twenty five door manufacturers were competing for this contract over a period of one year and were subjected to heavy scrutiny by BAA.
Tim Doran the Managing Director of Ahmarra believes that it came down to providing BAA with the right mixture of elements that they were looking for.

BAA is the world's leading airport company who own and operate seven UK airports - Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Southampton, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen, with international operations in Italy, Australia, Hungary and the USA.
The 5 year agreement will mean that Ahmarra will be working with many of the UK's leading construction companies supplying many of the major building projects that BAA are currently engaged in.
Ahmarra have already won their first contract under this new agreement and will soon be supplying laminated doorsets for Heathrow Terminal 1 Departures lounge via Mansell's the First Tier contractor.
