The Ei140 and 160 Series of mains powered smoke alarms are, according to exclusive UK distributor Aico, the quickest and simplest alarms to install thanks to their patented 'Easi-Fit' designs.

Kerrier Homes Standardises On Ei Alarms From AICO
Kerrier Homes Trust has now standardised on the Ei160 Series mains powered smoke alarms and Ei261 mains powered Carbon Monoxide (CO) alarms from Aico for all their tenant safety requirements.
During the second stage, the installer wires up the terminals on the mounting plate and then simply clips on the protective cover.
To complete the third stage, the alarm is slid into place on the mounting plate.
There is no need to wire up a separate lead and connector.
Sliding the head into place automatically connects both mains and back up battery or cell power.
Units can be recess or surface mounted and all trunking knock out points are already provided.
Because there is no need for any additional wiring enclosure, mounting kit or lead, the installation is also exceptionally economical.
The Ei140 budget range features a quality Alkaline back up battery while the Ei160 Series features 10 year plus rechargeable Lithium cell technology.
Both ranges include fully interconnectable ionisation, optical and heat models, a hush feature on all units and advanced detection technology proven in hundreds of thousands of installations nationwide.
