The Hydrotech Agrement certificate states a life expectancy for the membrane in line with that of the structure.
A 20 year warranty covering both materials and workmanship was also a deciding factor in system choice.
On this project in addition to the Hydrotech membrane, some 30,000 Alumasc Modulock adjustable paving pad supports were installed to support the specially made paving used on the balcony areas and central courtyard of the development.
Hydrotech provides a highly reliable long term waterproof membrane for protected roofs, plaza decks, green roofs and other similar applications.
The system consists of two coats of Hydrotech Monolithic Membrane 6125 (hot melt rubberised bitumen) incorporating Flex Flash F polyester reinforcement fabric between both layers.
