Alumasc green roof build-up live at
Ecobuild

Visitors to Ecobuild will see how the various Alumasc roof components are assembled to achieve a watertight and attractive green roof.

As the UK's market leader in the supply and specification of green roofs and an exclusive sponsor of the GLA's research paper into Living Roofs, which has resulted in a change to the London Plan, Alumasc are delighted to have this opportunity Robert Littlewood, Managing Director of Alumasc explained "We know that the enthusiasm for green roofing has never been greater"

"More and more clients and specifiers are insisting on the use of sustainable construction materials to achieve their environmentally friendly targets".

"We believe that a real time practical demonstration will be of great interest to visitors at Ecobuild 2008 and will give the audience both confidence and reassurance that living roofs are a practical and cost efficient roofing system".

The demonstrations will take place at 11.30am daily on the SOH2O stand.

Alumasc will take the audience through the requirements for green roof waterproofing, drainage considerations, substrate and planting, and also answer any questions that may arise.

The Alumasc team will assemble the different roof layers live in front of visitors and the roof will then be left in place each day for visitors to view.

Alumasc will also be available on stand 138 for any further enquiries.

Visitors to this stand will also be able to learn more about the company's other ranges of sustainable building materials including cork insulation, Swistherm EWI system, aluminium roofing and rainwater systems. Request a free brochure from Alumasc Exterior Building Products ...
