Alumasc has released a technical guide detailing its Harmer SML soil and waste solutions and Harmer Kessel rainwater-management systems.

Together with its drainage website, the guide forms part of Alumasc's programme of development, intended to provide a resource for the building industry and technical support to architects, specifiers and contractors.

The Harmer SML soil and waste system brochure comprises full details on all aspects of the EN 877-compliant SML system, with clear technical data, installation graphics for each component and full NBS specification guidelines.

BBA-approved Harmer SML is a lightweight, 100 per cent recyclable, cast-iron pipework system that has been used on a range of projects, from hospitals and schools to commercial premises, hotels and stadia.

Harmer SML incorporates high-performance materials, low maintenance and good acoustic performance in accordance with BS EN 14366:2004, according to Alumasc.

Alumasc's Harmer Kessel systems offer solutions for integrated rainwater collection in private and commercial applications, saving up to 50 per cent of annual water usage.

The brochure details a range of solutions and design options, together with system build-up graphics and comprehensive technical data.
