All Seasons Hire portable chillers for ice rinks

All Seasons Hire have been very busy supplying and installing portable chillers for ice rinks across the UK, ready for the festive season.

It has take a significant amount of labour, four days work and 4,000 litres of water to get Basildon's outdoor ice rink ready for its grand opening.

All Seasons Hire have supplied and installed 3 Trane low temperature portable chillers supplying the ice for the rink.

615m of thick rubber tubing was laid down inside the marquee prior to 4,000 litres of glycol solution being pumped through and frozen.

A plastic membrane was placed under the rubber tubing to allow water to be pumped over and frozen, creating 8cm of ice.

The rink's first day of opening saw an ice hockey and figure skating demonstration, as well as free skating for early arrivals.

All Seasons Hire have also supplied the Refrigeration and Hot Food display cabinets for the restaurant area and Electric Portable Heaters to keep spectators warm.
