Working in partnership with AM Profiles
Recently completed extension for the Aston Hotel at Newton Park near Darlington utilised an elegant single storey curtain wall with inset opening lights from AM Profiles.
The hotel required an extension to the dining facilities and further room for administration, straddling the main entrance of the hotel the aluminium and glass structure is now a striking feature of the hotel The installer, FGM Metnor, worked closely with AM Profiles who provided the fabricated curtain wall and windows

AM Profiles complete new development designed by CAD Associates of Lincoln for Stamford Homes which effectively uses aluminium curtain walling, windows and doors in a low rise residential application.
The partnership between the two companies has worked so well that further projects have now been secured.

'KAYEWALL 46' was chosen for the project as it has exceptionally slim lines for a curtain wall system having just 46mm mullion width whilst maintaining good insulation properties.
Windows are from the 'Vectra' range and the main entrance comprises of AM Profiles commercial doors.
"We chose the systems from AM Profiles as they have a broad portfolio of systems allowing us to meet the design requirements of our client.
We are also pleased that we can obtain the systems in fabricated form ready for installation on site by our own installers" a representative from FGM Metnor commented.
'Partnering' is an ideal term used when working within a main contract, the 'partnering' between these two companies is working to the benefit of both and the industry would be better positioned if more contacts were undertaken on this basis.
AM Profiles is currently working on their next project with FGM Mertnor, Victoria Hall at Ryslip, and are looking to secure future work.
